Having lived in Wyoming, I can tell you that parts of this state can make you feel quite unwelcome. The wind blows year around, and the Earth looks parched and unlivable...yet it did not take much exploration to find that Wyoming is one of the most beautiful places I've ever lived.
The state is rich in natural wonders, such as yellowstone, and also rich in the history of the west. Wyoming has immense areas for tracing the Oregon Trail and the history of the settlement of the West. Numerous lakes, great fishing, and there is no better place for viewing wildlife.
These photographs were taken in the area surrounding Casper, Wy.
